About The Club

The Rocky Mountain Model A Club was formed in November 2006 by a small group of Model A car enthusiasts.  Our club is dedicated to the restoration, continued improvement and of course touring in our Model A Ford automobiles.  Ford Model A cars were produced between 1928 and 1931 exclusively.  These cars are meticulously maintained by their owners so they are always in top running condition.  A big problem with Model A cars is that you can’t own just one.  Several of our members own up to 15 Model A cars.  Is that a hoarder or an enthusiast?

Functions and Activities

We participate in many tours, parades and car shows throughout the entire year.  We have toured all over Colorado and surrounding states.  Our cars are not the fastest on the road but can climb passes in Colorado with ease.  (Slowly but easily!) Air conditioning in our cars consists of windows open, while the heat is generated from inside with the windows closed and the help of blankets, gloves, coats and hats.

 Meetings

We meet in Franktown, CO on the second Wednesday of every month 6:30 P.M. at the Franktown Fire Station.  We are conveniently located half-way between the Denver Model A Club and the Pikes Peak Model A Club.  Everyone is always welcome.
